The album title is inspired by a hummingbird’s actual heart rate that can rise up over 1200 BPM, and using that as a metaphor to express “things that make your heart race.” As I was sitting with all the songs, I was hearing different threads where this could be true : taking risks in life, chasing a dream, falling in love, confronting difficult situations, having anxiousu002Fnervous tendencies etc. There are several motifs threaded through the project musically & visually, and the hummingbird motif is also expressed in the album having more energetic, higher tempo tracks. 💖 * * Whole album is out FRIDAY!!! 🥲 Pre-Save link in bio ✨🪷 **Also, thank you for @birdnoteradio for the info
